A JES school was the perfect solution to address the impact of poverty and neglect under the pre-schoolers in Wemmershoek, near Paarl in Western Cape. Learning tree pre-school is based on a blue berry farm, Le Arc in Franschoek.

We opened our hearts to the children in 2019. We are a small school with only 7 learners and 1 Teacher. The JES Early Childhood education helps children learn useful life skills which is beneficial. These skills help children to become more independent. The JES Curriculum will enhance children’s ability to be creative, physical, language and literacy socially and educationally ready for higher learning goals. We are led by the needs of the child and each child gets one-on-one attention. The parents had to adapt to the children’s new mind set. The JES Curriculum also teach the parent to adapt to the children’s level.
I joined the Shiloh family in 2020 as Project Manager and Head Master of the After Care.
