Background
1. There still is a need for people to sponsor children in Klippie Kids Pre-school. The parents pay a small amount according to their income and we recruit sponsors to pay R150 per month. We will provide participants with the children’s birthdates and if they wish, they can give the child a birthday present and/or party and we will also send them updates on the children’s progress.
2. The leader of the vegetable garden project cannot continue and we need somebody to replace her. A leader needs to encourage the gardeners, take them seed and gardening equipment and provide them with advice.
3. We would like to have a recycling project in Klipheuwel and would be very glad if somebody can come forward to lead the project.
4. There is a crèche for kiddies younger than 3 years in the community. If somebody comes forward to lead this project, we will incorporate it as a Shiloh Klipheuwel project. She will be responsible to aid the owner in registering with Department of Social Development and to assist her in enrolling at Northlink College to obtain a qualification.
5. At the moment we do not have people presenting skills training. There are some ladies who had lessons on fabric painting, beadwork and mosaics. They are keen on learning new skills or improving on what they already learned. If people can come forward to present classes, it will be a blessing for them.
6. There is a club for both male and female senior citizens in Klipheuwel and they would like to do handwork. If somebody can come forward to teach them skills or to make interesting articles with existing skills it will help them to spend their time in an up building way.
