| Date received : 2010-02-02 | The generosity of our donors has rendered it possible for Shiloh to sponsor and support 65 children to continue their schooling during. 2009. Most of our learners successfully passed and were promoted to their following grade. Those learners who were unsuccessful as a result of inability will be encouraged and motivated to improve. Those learners who did not attend school faithfully were warned last year, that if their school attendance did not improve they would be removed from the Project. At the beginning of this term we purchased school uniforms and stationery for each child according to their needs. Motivational talks were given with many a word of warning that school truancy would not be tolerated and that a strict no drug policy is practiced.. The children taken up in our project are often without the hope of ever being able to complete their school careers as a direct result of their home circumstances For these their future is dim.
